About Sam
Samantha Hall is a professional artist specializing in colored pencil drawings. With a deep appreciation for the beauty and simplicity of nature…capturing and highlighting these qualities is at the heart of all her work.
Originally from the east side of Michigan, Samantha earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2015. After graduating, she relocated to Northern Michigan, where she now lives on 10 acres surrounded by endless natural inspiration.
Samantha dedicates much of her time to creating lifelike pet portraits for clients, while also exploring the intricate details found in the natural world—from the delicate curve of a flower petal to the complex textures of fish scales and bird feathers. Each year, she participates in an average of 40 shows, markets, and events, in addition to exhibiting her work in local galleries and shops.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys cooking, kayaking, visiting breweries and wineries, and, most importantly, spending time with her husband, Joe, and their beloved cats and dog.
