About Sam
Samantha Hall is a professional artist specializing in colored pencil drawings. She is very interested in nature's beauty and simplicity, and highlighting that beauty is the focus of all of her work.
Originally from the East side of the state, she received her BFA in Illustration from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2015. After graduation Samantha moved up to Northern Michigan and now lives on 10 acres surrounded by endless inspiration. She spends her time bringing pet portraits to life for clients and finding beauty in something as simple as a flower petal to something as complex the scales of a fish or the feathers of a bird. Every year she showcases her work at an average of 40 shows/markets/events as well as displaying work in local galleries and shops.
In her free time she enjoys cooking, kayaking, exploring breweries and wineries, and most of all spending time with her husband Joe and their cats and dog.
